Young girltri places hands on static electricity experiment at Thinktank science museum, Millennium Point.Millennium Point is easy to get to by road, rail or on foot. It's just 10 minutes walk from Moor Street station, the Bullring shopping centre and the iconic Selfridges building, and about 15 minutes walk from New Street station and the central shopping and business districts.

For pedestrians there are 'fingerpoint' signs to Millennium Point outside the stations and shopping centres and along the main routes to the building from the city centre.

For drivers, there are brown tourist attraction signs for 'Thinktank at Millennium Point' on the main routes into the city and the entrance to Millennium Point’s car park is on Jennens Road.

For drivers with satellite navigation, Millennium Point's address is Curzon Street, Birmingham B4 7XG (but note that the car park is entered from Jennens Road (B7 4EH).

Opening Times

Millennium Point’s central public space - the Hub - is open free of charge from 7.00am until 11.00pm every day of the year except Christmas Day.

Facilities

The public area on Level 2 is home to Pastico, a café that serves a large selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Across The Hub, on Level 1, you can buy a beer at the IMAX Cafe Lounge, as well as sandwiches and various snacks.

Public conveniences and the baby changing facilities are located on Level 1 and Level 2.

Outdoors

Landscaped gardens with a fountain are to the north of the site, accessed from Level 2, with the paved Millennium Square to the southern main entrance at Level 0. Millennium Square has been used for many events, including fireworks, a funfair, World Cup 2006 Big Screen and a beer festival!
